At Verdantis Agro, we are committed to providing high-quality agricultural products and reliable agro logistics services to our customers. We understand that in rare cases, issues may arise with an order or delivery. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for refunds, returns, and order disputes in compliance with Nigerian and European consumer protection laws.
2. Eligibility for Refunds or Returns
We offer refunds or returns under the following conditions:
- The product delivered does not match the agreed specifications (e.g., moisture level, starch content, quality grade).
- The product is damaged in transit or spoiled upon arrival.
A logistics service fails to meet the agreed delivery terms, such as unreasonable delays or incomplete delivery caused by our team.
Cancellations made before processing or dispatch of goods may be eligible for a full refund.
Note: Due to the perishable nature of agricultural products, refund or return claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery.
3. Items and Services Not Eligible for Return
- Products that have been altered, processed, or stored improperly after delivery.
- Orders that failed due to inaccurate delivery information provided by the buyer.
- Delays caused by external factors beyond our control (e.g., strikes, natural disasters, regulatory delays).
- Bulk or custom orders with specific processing instructions (unless defective or damaged on arrival).
4. Return Process
- Notify our customer support team within 24 hours of delivery.
- Provide proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation).
- Submit photo or video evidence of the issue where applicable.
- Once your claim is verified, we will arrange for product retrieval or credit/refund processing.
5. Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after verification.
- Refunds are made through the original payment method or credited toward a future order if preferred.
- For EU clients, refunds comply with the 14-day refund window required under EU consumer protection law.
6. Order Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled without penalty before processing or dispatch.
- For orders already in transit, cancellation may attract a restocking or logistics fee.
- Once goods have been delivered, only return and refund claims (as per Section 2) will apply.
7. Logistics Service Disputes
For logistics-only services:
- Claims related to delayed or incomplete deliveries must be filed within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery time.
- Compensation or refund will be determined based on the extent of the service failure and terms agreed upon in the logistics contract.
8. International Orders (EU and Other Regions)
- EU customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible non-perishable products.
- All returned goods must be in their original state and packaging.
- Return shipping costs may apply unless the issue is due to our error or product fault.
